Business operating platform · Phoenix, Arizona
One system, built around what your business needs.
Stop losing time to ringing phones, missed messages, and scheduling. NorthStar keeps the front end of your business moving so you can get back to the work that pays.
That number is answered by the same front desk we set up for clients. Call it — that is the demo.
The two-minute version
What NorthStar does, in under two minutes.
The screens are real, with sample data. Everything else is an illustration.
The operating loop
From the first ring to the booked job, one system carries the work.
Most businesses run this loop by hand, across five apps and a notepad. NorthStar runs it as one flow, and every step on this rail is one a client can switch on today.

Start where the pain is
You were under a sink, up a ladder, with a client, driving. It rang out. They called the next name on the list.
The missed call
Small businesses rarely lose work to a competitor. They lose it to a phone nobody could get to. The first thing NorthStar does is pick up.
Every call answered
Day or night, on the first ring, with no phone tree. Hours, prices, directions, and the questions you get asked twenty times a week.
Bookings on your calendar
Appointments taken at nine at night, on your hours, and kept on your calendar. Your customers can book from a page of their own, too.
The message, while it still matters
Name, number and what they actually said, kept in your Command Center before the caller has hung up.
Build outward
Your Command Center grows with what you add.
Every plan comes with your Command Center. A starting configuration shows calls, messages and bookings; as you add capabilities, the panes appear. You are not buying features; you are building the operating system for your business.
03 modules connected
An executive-level NorthStar assistant that helps coordinate information, priorities, follow-up and operations across your connected business. Not another receptionist.
What it does
- A daily briefing: what happened, what is booked, what needs you
- What is outstanding, and who is waiting on whom
- Your pipeline and your customer issues, in a paragraph
- Follow-up and reminders that reach the right person on your team
- Calendar help, and preparation before a meeting
- Finding the document, and answering questions about your own business
- Reports you did not have to ask for, and an alert when something needs you
What it works across
It works only across the parts of NorthStar you have authorized: your calls, messages, bookings, customers and the systems you have connected. You talk to it on the channels you choose.
Built around your business and scoped with you. Custom pricing, after a conversation about what you need it to carry.

How NorthStar works
Reusable capabilities, assembled around your business.
Nothing is built for one industry and bolted onto another. The same capabilities are configured differently for a plumber, a law office and a property manager.
Eight questions, before anything is built
The answers decide the configuration. Change any of it later.
- What does your business do?
- How do customers reach you?
- What happens after they contact you?
- What software do you already use?
- Where does work get stuck?
- What repetitive work are people doing by hand?
- What happens after hours?
- What do you wish happened automatically?
Configurations
NorthStar for your trade.
Each one is a configuration of the same platform — the capabilities, questions and playbooks that trade needs most, preselected. Never a separate product. Change anything.
Command Center
See the business from one place.
Included with every plan, from Starter up. Clients sign in on their phone. What needs them comes first; the rest of the week sits under it. These are the panes a client sees today — the surface grows as the configuration does.
Connect your existing systems
Keep the tools you have. Let the information move.
Connect your POS talk to us
Connect NorthStar with the system you already use for orders and payments, so information moves automatically between your business and NorthStar.
These are the systems we look at first. Nothing is promised until it is built and tested for you.
Microsoft 365 — custom connection talk to us
Already run the business on Microsoft 365? We scope a connection with you — which mailboxes, which calendars, which contacts — and build it to fit.
A custom connection, not a switch: nothing is promised until it is built and tested for you.
Your CRM talk to us
Keep the customer system you already have. We map what NorthStar hears on the phone into it, so nobody types a call into a second place.
Every CRM maps differently, so the work is scoped before it is priced.
Custom software connection talk to us
Have software unique to your business? NorthStar may be able to connect it so information and actions flow automatically.
Every connection uses the system's own official door, and no one is handed a raw password to anything.
Check it yourself
Nothing on this page asks you to take our word for it.
Call the line
(480) 771-2118 is answered by the same front desk we set up for clients, from the same kind of hours-and-answers record. Ask it what we do.
Call nowOpen the booking page
The booking page our clients' customers use is the one we use ourselves. Pick a time and it lands on the calendar; outbound text confirmations are carrier-pending.
Book a callRead the price list
Every figure on this site is read from one list — the same one our sales team quotes from and the same one a card is charged against. Nothing is typed twice.

Three ways to start. Change anything.
Ready-made configurations, priced from one list. Add what you need, take off what you do not, and watch the price change as you go.
Is this an answering service, or software?
Both, in the way that matters. A front desk answers as your business — from your hours, your prices and the answers you approved — and the system behind it books the appointment and keeps the message in your Command Center. You set it up with us once; it runs from then on.
Link to this answerDo I keep my phone number?
Yes. Forward the number you already have, or we issue a new local one and point it at the desk. Nothing changes for your customers; they just stop getting a machine.
Link to this answerWhat does setup involve?
You complete your onboarding information online: how calls reach us, your hours and after-hours rules, your services and prices, the questions you get asked, who gets which calls, your voice. Then NorthStar verifies it, configures your system and places test calls. Most standard setups go live within 1–3 business days after all required onboarding information is complete.
Link to this answerCan I start small and add later?
Yes. Starter is one number answered, with every message kept in your Command Center. Add capabilities on the plans page when you are ready and take them off again when you are not. Outbound text notifications stay carrier-pending and cannot be selected until approval.
Link to this answerWhat happens after hours?
The desk answers at nine at night the same as at nine in the morning. Your after-hours rules decide what is booked, what is taken as a message, and what is put straight through to a person.
